We introduce employees of companies, hospitals, and government agencies to restaurants, pro sporting events, golf courses, spas, salons, hotels, and much more through limited time, in-person and online discount events.
We make our program available to each employer two or three times per year for a limited time. During this allotted time, employees will have access to hundreds of local attractions that are all 50%-90% off retail price. Employees live more and spend less!
What information do we collect?
We collect Personal Information and Non-Identifying Information from you when you interact with the Site, including when you register on the Site, use the Site, purchase services on the Site, or open or respond to emails sent in connection with the Site.
Personal Information means information about you that specifically identifies you or, when combined with other information we have, can be used to identify you. This includes but is not limited to your name, mailing address, billing address, email address, and telephone number. It also includes financial information collected from you and entered by you as needed to process payments for services that you buy.
Non-Identifying Information means information that alone cannot identify you. Non-Identifying Information may be derived from Personal Information.
How do we collect your information?
You provide us with your Personal Information and Non-Identifying Information when you register with the Site and purchase Appreciation Events discount certificates from the Site. We may also collect Personal Information when you contact us online for customer service support or if you enter it when interacting with us.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
To operate, maintain, and improve our Site based on your information and feedback;
To improve customer service, answer your questions, and respond to your requests;
To process transactions, including facilitating and fulfilling orders placed on the Site;
To send periodic emails, including emails to inform and update you regarding your orders; emails regarding company news, offerings, updates, and any additional information that may be of interest to you about Appreciation Events; and emails regarding reminders, technical notices, security alerts, support and administrative messages, and requested information;
PLEASE NOTE that we may also use information collected with your consent or as otherwise required or permitted by law.
What are your choices regarding your Personal Information?
In order to view the discount certificates offered by Appreciation Events, you must register with the Site by providing your email address. You do not have to provide any other Personal Information to Appreciation Events unless you decide to purchase any of the discount certificates offered, at which time further information will be requested to process payments. You may also provide Personal Information if you contact us with customer service requests.
By registering on the Site, you consent to Appreciation Events sending you emails in connection with the Site. You can limit the communications that Appreciation Events sends to you by following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. Please note that even if you unsubscribe from emails sent by Appreciation Events, we may still need to contact you with important transactional information related to your purchases. For example, even if you have unsubscribed from our email messages, we will still send you confirmations when you make purchases on the Site.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your Personal Information. Your Personal Information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever without your consent other than for the express purpose of delivering the discount certificate(s) requested and as described in the following section regarding outside parties.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
In general, we do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personal Information. However, this does not include trusted third parties who perform business operations on our behalf (the "Vendors"). Vendors may perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, analyzing data, processing credit card payments and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. We, or our Vendors on our behalf, may also share your Personal Information or Non-Identifying Information as required or permitted by law:
To report or collect on debts owed to us;

Can children use the Site?
Appreciation Events does not intend that any children under the age of thirteen access or use any portion of the Site. Such use is prohibited. The Site is designed and intended for adults. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least eighteen years old and understand that you must be at least eighteen years old in order to register and purchase discount certificates through the Site. We will promptly delete Personal Information if we obtain actual knowledge that the Personal Information is associated with a registered user who is not at least eighteen years old.
